    Cool

Gotta love American Steel another one from "The Man" George Korn,, this one barely made it through the edge restore, it was touch and go with all the chips and cracks

Edge Restore - DMT 325 2 layers of tape
Hard bevel Set - Chosera 1k 2 layers of tape
Honing - Shapton 1-2-4-6-8-16-30 1 layer of tape

    Wooooooo baby

Is it just me or does anybody else think the pictures of shaving cream w/stubble are disgusting? It reminds me of using a hanky and posting a picture of the snot inside. To me, it says nothing of the sharpness or smoothness as even a dull razor can produce stubble in shaving cream. I respect everyone here and especially honing enthusiasts that post here but just had to post that I think the old used shaving cream close ups are ummm.....repulsive. It could just be me getting old and crotchety too though.
What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one

LOL - I agree those pics for some reason always cause my stomach to flip....no explanation for it other than I kind of flinch, scream, "Ewwwwwww!!!", and keep scrolling......

Glad you brought that up, for some reason I can't explain I'm totally discusted by those pictures as well. And not to mention the fact that they prove absolutely nothing...

I must lack sensitivity - it doesn't gross me in the least but it is also of no help.

All I can add is, that used to suffer from 'weepers' or razor burn. I found that it was worse following removal of a 3 day growth, and the soap and whiskers visible, so I relate that image to weepers. I shave everyday and no more weepers, and like all of us, I love honing, stropping and shaving, it's like being told a cure to to coughing was to smoke cigarettes. No more soap and whiskers please....lol
