A Stain-less type of Russian steel and a big Turkish novaculite " not from Turkey" for final finish.

Bonus pic! Not final finish but mid range nocvaculite, "not from Ar-kansas" glamor shot. Enjoy, Mike

Two in today they've passed my way last year for honing two very nice razors the TI took a lovely edge and so did the Wade & Butcher.

Jamie I see that you have your dual grit cleaning stone pictured. I use mine and feel that 400grit is a little rough on 20K. I would like your feedback. After using my dual grit I end up doing a few more laps on the 20K . I am good with that. Thanks in advance.

I totally agree the dual stone is a little to rough and I much prefer the Chosera conditioning stones I only use it in between razors if I have a little swarf build up especially when I'm honing 6 or more razors, I just do a few circular laps under the tap then back on the stone holder.

Only one razor in today, must be one of my alltime favourite razors to hone always a pleasure the Revisor Extra such a lovely quality modern razor and they always take such a great edge.

A great little shaver a Hamburg Ring final finished on oil. Scissors may tend to perform better at the lower end of the grit spectrum IMHO.
