    Why? I wonder.
Beats me. I'm not complaining though, an extra 1/8" of coticule never hurts!

Maybe inches were bigger in the old days?

Here are mine less 2. One I can't find (Got to be in a drawer or cabinet somewhere) and the other 8x3 is on loan.

Don't have a Blue as I sold it a few years ago.

Cheers Lynn. I like that technicoloured coticule. I've never seen powder blue on a coticule before, that is quite amazing. Is it an old one?

It is kind of weird. I tried to lap it out, but it's a different imperfection. Doen't effect the use though.

I do too Lynn! And if my rib jabbing hasn't left you bruised maybe you would consider selling it to me when you dont want it anymore.

Last time I try that spell checker... erased 3 posts already....

    Long story really short now...

Used coticule to work a heavy Marshes and Shephard 8/8 wedge, Used stone in palm and let the stone fit to the edge and bingo, super edge.

Sure, the super short post makes it ...

Some of my coticules already featured in other threads, but I like the idea of 'hone clubs' so I'll post this one here. It's a large natural combination one with a nice clear demarcation line. Judging from the remnants of a stamp (ideas anyone?) on the side it used to be quite a bit thicker. The size is 251 x 60 x 27mm (app. 9 7/8 x 2 3/8 x 1 1/16 inch) It came in a relatively simple pinewood block box.
