I recently invested in a key chain knife and torch. A Victorinox rambler with scissors, knife, file, and bottle opener. Used it a fair bit!

My keyring tool is a Leatherman Squirt, you never know how much you need a keyring knife/tool combo until you carry one for a week.

I'm a happy fellow. This afternoon, my Emerson CQC-7B is being moved to my left pocket.
My right pocket is now home to the Emerson Super Karambit

They were more popular a couple of years ago (based on the questions on bladeforums and knifeforums).
Unfortunately, there are no mid-range karambit folders. There are the cheapos, and the Emersons. Nothing in between (50-70$ range).

I carry a Gerber Harsey Air Ranger fine edge. Lightweight aluminum machined handle with a high carbon blade that's easily sharpened. Not too big, not too small, lightweight for the size and a great edc knife!
