Yep kydex..got my son a necker for Christmas with a kydex sheath and a cliff knife from Idaho Knife Works... Pretty slick set up !!

Thanked: 3Kershaw Skyline. $40 on Amazon, plenty sharp out of the box for real EDC tasks (opening boxes, cutting string/rope/zipties and the like), G10 handle is very grippy and the whole thing is insanely lightweight. Reversible clip for tip up/down. Not assisted but opens easily with a flick of the wrist.

Got this beauty from Idaho Knife Works..and a necker Kydex sheath ..wood is Oregon Walnut,made from band saw steel
