I have won my wife over to cast iron. She packed a fry pan for our camping trip this weekend and commented several times how much better it was.

    Default Breakfast at Winterfell

This meal was inspired by a scene set in Winterfell in the Game of Thrones book series. I found the recipe in a food blog called Inn at the Crossroads where the authors recreate meals from the series.
    soft boiled egg
    bacon
    brown oatbread
    blackberry jelly, pomegranate arils
    butter, honey
    Assam tea

I plan to try a couple more meals from the food blog, leaning towards breakfasts. If you are familiar with Game of Thrones the North is very cold so they eat a lot of meat, cheese, sauage, and eggs.

Other than keeping the shell out of your bread that looks great!

The shell wasn't a problem. The egg is a bit runny so you use the spoon to eat the egg out of the shell, or dip hunks of bread in the egg.
