Former fat boy here - down 70 pounds in the last two years eating low sugar and avoiding simple carbs six days/week. Recent breakfast of scrambled egg, peppers & onions, beans, sausage, guacamole, coffee with cream and a little sugar (my only indulgence, really, sugar in coffee). 500 calories and hard to finish. Beans - it's all about beans.

Stout Oatmeal not Oatmeal Stout
The weekend is here and no more work for the day. I hadn't eaten in about 10 hours so I guess this counts as Breakfast! On the way home I called my wife to make sure we had oatmeal in the cupboard. When I told her what I planned to eat She said she was going to pick up Chinese takeout so I told her I wanted Pork Egg Foo Young. I found an Oatmeal Milk Stout called Moo Joos brewed by Brau Brothers Brewing in Lucan Minnesota. That sounded perfect! Walking down the aisle I saw Finlandia vodka from Finland and thought a toast to my new friend Sailor would be good. I have some hops from last year and although the color isn't the greatest the taste is there.
Here are the results.
The oatmeal really took on the flavor of the beer. The Moo Joos is bitter and add to that the hops it definitely needed some brown sugar. The Egg Foo Young was good for takeout. After the toast to Sailor anything would taste good!
The only thing I would maybe change is to use a lighter beer. The oatmeal surprised me in how it absorbed the other flavors.
I haven't decided yet if I am going to go to bed early now or hang around here making silly posts for the rest of the night!

Due to the saturdayness of the day, and despite the fact that I am still working I decided to haves big brekkie instead of poached eggs on ricecakes.
Egg benedict, beans, mini hash browns, mushrooms and cheese kransky. Coffee to drink.

Fish and chips are good any day of the week! Why only Friday? Do you have a watch with the date on it? Have you been relaxing and stopped swinging your arm to wind it? It is still Friday for 3 hours...
If i swing my arm forth and back instead of back and forth will it still wind?

I live 2 weeks out of 3 in a mining camp, Friday is fish and chips, Saturday is roast night, Sunday is special dinner, where the chefs choose a theme, like seafood or curry etc, have not really noticed a trend the rest of the time, I usually get a steak or grilled chicken and salad.
I wear this watch for work
As you can see it doesn't have a date functionBread and water can so easily become tea and toast
