Ok this is my favourite brekkie in camp, 3 pancakes, mixed berries, chocolate and vanilla ice cream, it used to get some interesting looks.
I am on a diet now so its poached eggs and Tabasco on rice cakes.

Yes, stew is definately one of the ugly ducklings of the food world, not photogenic, but very fine food indeed, I think it falls into the "nurtures.the soul" category, a good stew will make you feel better.

Thanked: 983All right so the stew wasn't pretty...Well, this mornings breakfast will hopefully look a little prettier. Today was rolled oats, soaked overnight with charcoal filtered rainwater and just prior to eating I added a good serving of Vanilla yogurt and halved strawberries...Or strawberry berries according to my youngest who was (out of shot) at the table eating her weet-bix. I fear the placemat might prove to be the more interesting about this mornings breakfast however, and I suppose I could always provide a shot of that by itself, though I won't be eating it anytime soon.

Your place mat got me wondering how rolled oat made using Aussie Beer and garnished with some Hops would taste?
