If nothing else these things are awesome because they actually encourage people to eat fresh food. It's way too easy (and cheap) nowadays to just grab junk from the supermarket. Good on all you guys! :

Yowza, Yowza!!

I am loving the Vitamix!! Smoothie in the morning for breakfast. Green Smoothie for lunch and then a regular dinner. Feeling much better, mo regulah and even losing a few lbs.

Going through Bananas, Strawberries, Pears, Apples, Spinach, Almond Milk, Yogurt and a bunch of other great stuff like crazy!! Can't believe how decent all this stuff tastes blended. Haven't had anything from a box or bag since I got the Vitamix.

Dis a bootiful ting!!

GCN have a few recipes which seem to be quite popular. They are aimed at cyclists, but I'm sure there are non-cyclists that may wish to give them a try. How To Make A High-Nitrate Beet And Carrot Juice - GCN's Food For Cycling - YouTube

Today's dairy smoothie.

Greek yoghourt, rice milk, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, grapes, banana, flax seed, oatmeal and a dash of stevia.

So easy even a caveman can make it

For the morning i make a green smoothie with 1,5 cup iced water, 2 hand fulls of spinach, 1 green apple, 1 rhubarb, around 5-8 wolfberrys,1 table spoon organic coconut oil and 1 table spoon of chia seeds.

The fruits are mixed up with others day to day and some times berrys. but the spinach and wolfberrys, coconut oil and chai seeds are every morning in the mix.

since i started with this i feel so much more awake in the mornings i can higly recommend the chia seeds.

There's white and black Chia. Similar with both the same properties. Loaded with antioxidants, protein, fiber, omega 3, calcium, manganese, magnesium, phosphorus,.. It's just very healthy and supercharged with lots of good stuff.

1 Banana, 1 spoon of all natural peanut butter and a half cup of spinach. It's delicious.

chia seeds, eh - they're a bit like microscopic tapioca balls if you soak them - a fun texture and it's supposed to be quite healthy too
i saw them first at yuppie friends' house 5-6 years ago and now they seem to be everywhere - at least 4 different brands in the big grocery store.

question - do you use the vitamix for cocktails too or does it make the texture too bubbly/foamy and not suitable?
