My daughter was up for the night to celebrate her ole man gettin older and brought me some flour from a local to her mill. Had to test it out and send her home with a loaf so baked some birthday bread.

A delicious wheat with a great crust and crumb. 11g of salt across the two loaves and my oldest starter.
Thoughtful kid, as she also brought me two aftershaves she created for me and a bottle of beard oil she made.
All organic ingredients, and using skills acquired at a handmade soap company to create one of a kind scents, and moments for her pop.

Great thread, new to bread baking, hence a simple Irish soda bread recipe (Dutch oven) with granary flour and extra nuts and cranberries.

Not exactly bread. But gingerbread. Made a few of these for my mother when I came by to get her Christmas tree up.

Made some tear and share garlic bread last weekend. Served as a side to some spaghetti Bolognese. Seemed to go down well with everyone except the boy. But I think he was having a picky day.
