Or wood or coal. My favorite cast pan is very ugly on the bottom and I am told it is from cooking over coal.

One step at a time with the wife

I got her getting used to the Black Iron and actually wanting 2 pieces for Desserts, next is the Gas Stove,

One of the few things they did right in this house is to run Gas and 220V to both the Dryer and the Stove

Getting closer but IU have to find one that can be converted to Propane

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I have natural gas, a hot plate{electric], propane in 1 or 20 lb cylinders for a camp stove, unleaded gas or white gas camp stove, Grill with charcoal, and if all else fails a wood fire. Dang I almost forgot charcoal for the forge.

I can figure out some way to cook if needed and cast iron would work with all of them!
