Nice Griswold Wid, been keeping an eye out for one of their dutch ovens myself, harder to find than the fry pans.

They're hard to find here too. Finding one with a decent price tag is like finding hens teeth.

I wound up spraying my pan with oven cleaner then wrapping in a plastic bag for about a week.. It actually came out nice.. Now I have to season it.. I'll try ur method and see how it goes..my problem was after seasoning it stuff would still stick to the pan..

Picked up a couple new pieces lately. The one with the diamond is said to be a Favorite brand

Looked at some new Lodge cast pans yesterday, still made in the US, pricey and look the part, but the casting on the cooking face does look quite rough. The Le Creuset pans in the same store were totally smooth,and the one we have is a great pan.

I picked up a Wagner Ware #8 this afternoon. Now here is my stupid question...what does the 8 stand for?
