Steph the Ceylon is nice. Not strong enough, but nice all the same. Since it is tea bags I might just hit the cup with two at once. It has a bit of the Bergamont in it like Earl Grey, but doesn't taste so strongly. A nice end of the day cup of tea really.

Don, with regards that tea pot handle I would wrap it tightly with something and tie that into place before getting some lace and round plaiting (braiding) over the top of that insulating material. A simple four strand plait would be sufficient but you could add more and narrower strands of thin leather of a couple of different tones or colours to really fancy it up. Just a thought on doing the job. You might like something closer to whatever was originally doing the job.

Any idea how I could fix that? I see the new ones have wicker or some type of basket weaving stuff braided onto the wires. Like I said, I'm open for suggestions.

That Ceylon tea is much better made using two bags per cup...Well I prefer it that way, having a preference for stronger tea. It's good one way or the other I suppose.

Strong is good mate....if I average cups per pot and bags per pot...we got the same strength preference.

Geez mate, I wished I had have thought of that, I was sitting down at lunch today eating not just a pie, but that great Aussie Icon, the 'Chico' roll as well. And with a cup of tea to boot. Never thought to take a photo though. Might have been something to do with the frustration of putting together a bit of Ikea flat pack crap that the wife bought for the kids room. Took me all day in 30 plus degree heat. Not a happy camper today. I'm good now though. Ended the day withy the Ceylon followed by a half bottle of cold white wine and a tall glass of double shot bourbon and cola...Like I said...Hot bloody day today. I'll see what I can do about the pie and tea shot sometime real soon though mate. I'll try for tomorrow, but it'll kill me diet...The sacrifices one must make though .
