starting my morning with a pot of swan, and mick, the smokeyness comes from the lapsang in the blend, where did your tea come from, was it an online store. if i understand the blend correctly, it is lapsang blended with some assam and ceylon. but i may be wrong on the ceylon.

We're talking about the 'Russian Caravan' tea? Yeah?. It came from a local tea specialist store called T2. It was given to me for christmas. If you're talking about the Bushells tea, I haven't a clue what tea types make up the blend (I haven't a clue abot R.C either for that matter...Unless you've just told me that is ). (edit) looks like Steph has just beat my post with an explanation and wiki link...
I'll post some pics tomrrow. Only just got back home today and haven't had time for much other than un-packing and wilting in the heat.

Thought it was one of your favourites Steph...Or have I crossed me damn wires again?! Anyway, it is a fine brew. I reckon you'd like it if you haven't already tried it.

the Russian caravan i buy comes from the online store. the English tea shop, which has been posted on the thread numerous times. their rice for a pound is around 12-16 dollars, and is a very good tea for the price, something to look into Steph. or you can always wait, and hit me up in about 2 months when i order again to keep the cupboard stocked till the fall, lol

Ah so many teas and so little time...How is a man to try them all before departing this heavenly purgatory?! But seriously...So many teas, and they can't all taste like someone else's cuppa tea and not your own, so there must be so many good ones out there to try. How the hell is a man to find them all before he dies????!

It ain't the quanity that matters but the quality my friend. Be happy with what you try in your lifetime and enjoy what you can when you can where you can. ..............And a chicken in every pot huzzah !
