This was my first cup of sencha, my first infusion was a light green color. I got it from Harney & Sons. They sent me a sample along with my order.

I'd imagine your tea was a darker, more greeny-yellow than that picture. How was it?

It was a pretty nice cup, a mild green vegetable type of taste. I enjoyed it.

My daughter was just over and it was her choice for tea. She wanted something light so we went with some pearl jasmine. I've been away from the green teas lately, for no reason really. But the cup I just poured is awesome~! I added a bit of raw washed sugar to it and it gave it a light, milky aftertaste. So much so that I could pass it off as a jasminey milk oolong. Don't know why, maybe I've just been away from it for too long, but whatever the reason, it's a very pleasant surprise.

    Hey Steph,

I'm going to try to make some mustard like in the link I sent you. I hope it comes out and that I really like it. I don't think ahead quite a bit of the time, I get caught up in the idea and don't pay attention to what I'm doing. The recipe calls for six tablespoons of mustard seed and half a cup of mustard powder. I bought some through Amazon. I ended up getting three pounds of brown mustard seed and two pounds of mustard powder!! Yeah, like I said, I don't pay attention, I get tunnel vision. I hope I like it as I have enough to keep me in mustard for quite a while!!! God Im an idiot sometimes!!!

So, if you do want to make some, I'll cut you a heckuva deal of some seed and powder!!

Unfortunately I can not, I'm afraid to do it yourself.
