Thread: Tea anyone ??!!

3-6 cups a day of different kinds maybe more if I'm trying a new kind.

Drinking some White Swiss Truffle Rooibos atm has little white chocolate chips and a hint of mint. I drink 4 infusions of this a night...might try mainlining it tommorow as I can't seem to drink enough - maybe than I'll get my fix

The same for me.
But if I am at home all day, working on the computer or whatever, I will drink approximatelly 2-3L of tea.

Nah....no way. Don't get me wrong...I switched to tea because...well...read my first entry of this thread.Once in a while I crave a nice cuppa Joe...but I do like mah tea !!

I switched to tea because I was drinking way too many espressos a day. Even before bed, now I drink way too many cups of tea a day, before bed as well.

Yup.........it's a dirty vicious cycle. I love it !

Man do i feel for you, I was drinking around 5-6 pots of coffee a day, and I was roasting to, so i needed a major change. Dont miss the heartburn now

I may drink a large cup in the morning, and then one in the late evening when it's time to kick back. If I have some midnight oil to be burning then its another big cup.

I like twinnings Irish breakfast in the morning, lady grey with some sugar when relaxing. There is a place here in town called " Hillbilly Tea" that I love their version of Earl grey.

We had a friend give us some mystery tea from his visit to Asia. Not my favorite, tasted like.... Swamp. We didn't want to hurt his feelings so we never brought it up again.

Coffee story for the tea thread......Why? because some of us are/were former coffee freaks and can relate and because........well..........because. So tonight I am having a nice pot of French Press ,French Roast and Caramel Truffle blend. I've been watching all these old reruns of Combat and 12 O'clock High and watchin all these old GI's and Flyboys drinkin pots of Perked coffee. Needless to say although it is now very rare,I still crave a cuppa Joe one in a while. I wanted to find a good ol fashioned stovetop percolator. It's harder than you think. I've scoured Amazon and various other places only to find most percolators both stovetop and electric are crappy Chinese made throwbacks with a myriad of problems. Crummy filaments,cheap workmanship,plastic parts that melt,break or malfunction.So I had to get this monkey off my back you see....I had to have a meaty coffee sandwich in a cup. Mud..the good stuff. Good thing I kept my Frenchy Press for just such emergencies.It aint perked which I actually happen to like contrary to the bad rap some coffee snobs have given perked coffee .In this day and age it seems you just can't get a good cup O joe....without sprinkles,crinkles and cream "OH MY". I'm even havin it in my good ol fashioned GI/Cafe mug and I'm using my Diner Caraf...Don't worry fellas,me n Tea are never parting...but tonight it's me n Joe. and 12 O'clock High...a Quinn Martin Production yay !! P.S. ....Yeah I know they didn't drink Caramel Truffle coffee back then..........but it smells and tastes soooooo goooood !!
