Thread: just wanted to share tonight's dinner with you guys..

My wife took me out tonite, for fathers day. We decided to wait till my day off, instead of dealing with the crowds of the weekend.

So....here's my favorite restaurant.



A Texas cut 23oz porterhouse smoothered in mushrooms n onions, fresh baked yeast rolls, and a house salad with ranch dressing, a few corona's, and a wheel barrel 2 go.





Sorry for the weird colors, lighting was quite dim.

Tonight a quick bbq after the rain.
Marinated the lamb chops for an hr in EVO, and balsamic vinegar with a splash of mint.
Little grilled garlic bread, green beans and salad to finish it all off..

Nice change of pace lamb chops are. Awesome with some char on the edge..

All of the above are part of the Macaroni Salad for tomorrow's supper.

Supper will be;

Smoke Cooked Pork Ribs
Macaroni Salad
Corn on the Cob
Pumpkin Pie for dessert

Had left over coal so tonight bbq pizzas.

Took longer to get to temp than to cook these.
Done in maybe 10 minutes at 600 on a pair of ceramic stones.
Toppings of pepperoni, yellow peppers, green olives, and prosciutto ham..
Very nice crust..

That slight char on the bbq pizza crust just makes it perfect. Looks delicious.

Last night's dinner: Lamb chops, yam, tomato, snap peas, baby corn, green onions, broccoli, avocado, hard boiled egg and fresh basil. Oh and a Mandarin Orange.
