I crave pickles and have a big belly, but I am pretty sure I am not.

Biscuits are flakier than I am and for the soup she tried johnsonville spicy Italian sausages this time and it was delicious.
Little bit of long shredded Parmesan cheese on top and I was in heaven..

    Default Garbage At??

Well a couple of days ago I decided to make a salmon dip using some salmon that my daughter and her husband gave me. I found an old bar of cream cheese in the back of the frig.

What do you think??? Think it'll be any good?

Well I opened it up and no mold, mildew no nothing. So I used it. I warmed it to room temp and beat it up. It worked great! The salmon dip is great! I've eaten it and it's fine.

Ha, a man after my own heart. I tell my wife that expiry dates are just a suggestion to try and make us go buy replacements.

She doesn't believe me so i get to have a great time with the expired stuff that she won't touch.

There was a time that items didn't have an expiration date on ANYTHING. Oh there were codes so that the milk man and the bread man could read to rotate and cull, but not for the buyer to know. In the meat department we just looked at the color of the meat and when it started to go bad, we just marked it down.

Canned goods had a stamped code on the end but it was just for the company to know. Dad worked for Green Giant and he could buy dented cans by the case. However they weren't labeled, but dad could read those codes and would mark them with a grease pencil----C was for corn----P was for peas---G was for green beans.
