I love it. I wanted to try it first so I bought the tiny bottle. My next will be the huge bottle.

One of these days I'm going to try the Bulleit bourbon.
    It's very highly rated.

My local stores are sold out. I could get it 75 miles away, for $23.50 a bottle. Is it worth an hour plus drive??

Back story on this stuff.... and why I wanted to try it.

What I know in a nut shell.

This stuff was actually brought to the market in the late 90's. Priced too low, and poorly marked, it was discontinued. From what I've read, the true whiskey "sippers" fell in love with this stuff and went searching for the remaining bottles available. It had a cult following.

In the early 2k it was brought back, and because of the huge up rise in Rye whiskey, this has become permanent bottle in peoples liquor cabinet.

The nose is is amazing. Tons of heavy Rye bread, spice, taffy, caramel. The taste is much the same and the finish is as long as a good peated scotch. My local liquor store had plenty of this, and for $40 Canadian, how could I not?

And yes, it's better than the world winning whiskey, Crown Royal Northern Harvest..... But I like that stuff too!

    Wow, I quoted myself.....
