Thanked: 1Been getting acquainted with my Laphroaig Quarter Cask. It took a couple of days for me to get to know it. First couple of days, it was Ok, now it's great with a hint of water. Enjoying the aftertaste as I type this.
Enjoy.

Thanked: 36Salty, smokey whisky with a slice of jalapeno sounds quite nice to me. Laphroaig 10 again today, should be able to finish the review at last.

Thanked: 36I'm planning to explore some speyside whiskies in the not too distant future, I'll keep my eye out for glen livet 16 nadura. I've always been into Islay, but I'm getting a broader taste nowadays. I think it'll be a couple of months before I can buy a speyside, my budget for April is allocated to small bottles of the the six classic malts for review purposes. One of them's a speyside so that'll do for now. I finished my laphroaig 10 review so I'm just drinking for pleasure until I get paid again. I think I'll be spending most of my imminent night shift deciding what to have for my dawn whisky before bed.

Enjoying a nice glass of Glenmorangie at the moment.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

Thanked: 10Ardbeg. Not as peaty or iodiney as Laphroaig, but good none the less.
