    It is Robert Burns Day so we're having a dram of Talisker 10...here's a perfect poem...

    A Red, Red Rose
    By Robert Burns

    O my Luve is like a red, red rose
    That’s newly sprung in June;
    O my Luve is like the melody
    That’s sweetly played in tune.

    So fair art thou, my bonnie lass,
    So deep in luve am I;
    And I will luve thee still, my dear,
    Till a’ the seas gang dry.

    Till a’ the seas gang dry, my dear,
    And the rocks melt wi’ the sun;
    I will love thee still, my dear,
    While the sands o’ life shall run.

    And fare thee weel, my only luve!
    And fare thee weel awhile!
    And I will come again, my luve,
    Though it were ten thousand mile.

    Nice! I really like that one. I didn't drink too much american whisky but I think my top list is the following:

    1) Woodford Reserve. (The best Price/Quality and easy to find)
    2) Four Roses (I think it was a single cask or some special edition)
    3) Knob Creek small batch
    4) Bulleit. A warhorse.

    Little Knob Creek and home made BBQ pulled pork. Relaxing at home.

    Hey Andrew

    Let us know what you think about this bottle. Someone said the 9 year was a bit of fire on the tongue.

    Just picked up a bottle of Knob Creek Rye today.
    Really, really nice.
    This stuff rocks!

    When I went to pick up a bottle, all I made sure of is that I didn't grab the RYE, or the single barrel. When I finally got around to trying it, my first sip I could tell it was warm. I remember thinking, "boy that's got some kick." After my 3rd or 4th sip I went and grabbed the bottle to check the ABV.

    Wow, 50%!! Next time I think I may try it with some water or ice.

    The Knob Creek is good, but I still love my peated scotch. My Forty Creek Confederation Oak is also very hard to beat.

    I might like bulleit rye more than knob creek!

    And I liked knob Creek a lot. More than any whiskey I've tried to date.
