Dang. Maybe I should get a bottle before prices go up here too.

Yeah, much as I love the Laga 16, it's a "once a year and nurse it" bottle, whereas some others I like a lot too are quite a bit less dear (Laphroiag QC, for example).

Actually, I'm ready for a change, so may get a bottle of Crown Royal XO next.

Have you tried Stranahan's? Love that stuff. Ritch, full flavour with a nice amount of abv. Love the oakiness it has.

Yeh, it's looking like I'm out of luck. I found a shop in Bath so I'll be emailing them in a moment to see if they have one. Seems like a long shot though.

That's pretty crazy! What's going on there? I picked up a cheap bottle of Uigeadail at an airport and made the mistake of telling them what a bargain it was. Next time I was there it was 200 kroner more, so I think they'd mis-priced it.

Here's my pour of the evening, Wild Turkey "Forgiven" An interesting beverage no doubt, to me, the rye is the dominant favor but still very smooth. Tonight it's on the rocks, mostly neat though when I choose this bottle. Any one else try this and what are your thoughts?

Stranahan's is one of my favorites. The distillery is about 15 minutes away from here, and the tastings on the tour are really nice. I'm out right now and really do need to pick up a bottle soon.

In the meantime, tonight is Glenmorangie Lasanta.

Ardbeg 10 tonight. An old favourite.

    Good night and take care!
