I would recommend a light splash of vintage Hai Karate.

I would recommend the Nivea sensitive after shave balm. That is my most used AS. I have no complaints on that one, relatively cheap and does it's job.

I have sensitive skin and have had good luck with Neutrogena razor defense post shave balm. You can get a 2.5 oz. tube at Walmart for just under $5. This will last longer than you think. I've also been using proraso post shave balm for sensitive skin and I think that the Neutrogena might actually be better, especially for dryness. I haven't completely made up my mind yet. I haven't tried the nivea a so I can't speak to that.

In a 12-ounce bottle with cap combine:

8-oz generic witch hazel from walmart of DG ($1.50)
1 tablespoon pure aloe vera gel (or harvest from your aloa vera plant)
    12 drops of glycerine
5-10 drops essential oil, flavor of your choice (I like lemon) - start with 5 drops then add a drop/day until you like it

Shake like a madman for 10-seconds; wait for foam to settle then top off with 91% unscented/undyed rubbing alcohol. Shake before using. A bottle lasts 8-10 months and, at $2.00/bottle, it's darn cheap and very nice on the skin as antiseptic-conditioner.

Nivea all the way around $5 at wally world. Found it at flea market for $2.

I wash twice with witch hazel and then a coat of Nivea

    +1 on the NIVEA

Also you could mix your own concoction with Cocoa Butter and Aloe available at WalMart. Flavor the mixture with BayRum essential oil.

I've been using Dove for Men (Moisturizing and Hydrating) for about 6 months. I'm liking it. Buy it at Walmart. Haven't tried Nivea yet, but when my Dove runs out, I plan to try the Nivea.

Believe it or not, check out your local Dollar General or Family Dollar. Depending on the store you can find some good deals there for things like Brutt AS and some balms and moisturizers.
My number one post shave is 100% Aloe Vera gel. Doesn't cost much and very good for your skin.

I bought a bottle of the Nivea ASB for sensitive skin at Target for $5-something. I think it is a fantastic product especially for the price..
