Here's one I cleaned up recently and put into new scales. A fine shaver.

The scales are made from Elforyn - an ivory substitute apparently, although it's a long way off the real thing.

My Oldest Bengall. I'm not sure of the age. I really like the casting marks on the toe and tang. I used jojoba oil on the scales after taking the pics. I've had this several years and just honed it yesterday and shaved today. Very nice shave.

And here is my submission to The Band :X2 PAIR VICTORIAN CUT THROAT STRAIGHT RAZORS BENGALL MOTHER OF PEARL IN CASE | eBay
I managed to get them last night, not my first Bengall, I have one full hollow and an early cast one but i have never seen ones like this before - I am going to have to ebay some Dunhills to pay for them but I think they were worth it. They will be off to Neil Miller at the Strop Shop when he's able for some care and attention. I look forward to your comments and acceptance of my submission !

All upto what Neil makes of them, there are going to be some renovation issues tho, not so good ! but will post pictures when their done but could be a while off . Anybody seen Bengall blades like this before ?
