    My single frameback... for now. It's an 1870's C.V. Heljestrand. It's not a 'looker', it's a user.

    Default Jernbolaget.

    Hello to all.

Really pleased with this Jernbolaget frameback. Very nice shaver.

I noticed that the blade is the same with the tang and has a separate back.

In others frameback I own, the blade is independent and it is secured on the tang and back.

    Default G. Perray Frameback

This is my first frameback and I'm loving it! I picked it up from another SRP razor buff this past week. Goooood stuff! Have any of you ever heard of the maker, G. Perray Vittel?

The mark "Fleur d'acier" was ownership of Duvert frères of Thiers. Probably Perray was a retailer of the village of Vittel (Lorena).
This happens when a cutler or dealer is offered a number of razors by a traveller/agent for a noted maker with the dealers own name stamped on the blade (a common practice especially in France).
