As Dylan told me when deciding between a couple razors: if you buy one wacker, you're gonna buy more wackers. In the immortal words of Madeleine Caan (blazing saddles): "It's twue, its twue"!! It's a sickness, but one that'll put a smile on your face every time.

I had my first shave with a Wacker this morning. A very good shave it was as well. It's a very good razor and I'm looking forward to using it on a regular basis.

John, Glad to hear. I don't know if you honed yourself, or who did the edge. I had to re-hone each of mine. 'Very hard steel - can take some time & care, but VERY rewarding.

There's a Williams blade inbound, but at this point the 3 wackers occupy the first two places of the most favored blade list, and ties w/ an old Genco for 3rd place.

I hope they please you for a long time.

The wacker arrived in the mail this afternoon. Ready to go tomorrow morning.

Did you get from the Canadian distributor or John at Shavingshop? Did it come shave ready? or are you going to ride the stones yourself?

I have one close to that size (15/16), and had to hone. The steel is hard, but when it dials in, it'll put a big smile on your face. For all the threads about the taller blades being less maneuverable, even this noob gets a thrill each time I use it.
