DEJAVU...it's like my regrind in Olivewood and my Takeda got together and had bouncing baby blade! Congrats. Saw that one up on SRD when he got it and almost pulled the trigger.

I have seen one razor that could be made by Mastro Livi or Richard Harner according to the seller:

I've never seen a Livi that he didn't engrave his name on....

Well, Butch and Mastro Livi both engrave their names... and the grind on that razor does not look like either of their fine work...

You might want to call Livi and Butch to make sure, and then go get your money back...

Actually as Lynn can tell you, Mastro didn't engrave his name on all of the very early ones but that one doesn't in any way resemble one of his. Nor Butch Harner's either AFAIC. Here is a beautiful 8/8 Livi with 3 pins in ladder Damascus and no engraving.

Great thread. Lots of beautiful razors.

But for some reason these razors are not on my to buy list. They just seem way to big!

    Default Update

I want to update my photo of my Mastro Livi ATS 34 with Olive wood scales. This is one of the group buy razors I was fortunate enough to snag. The writing on the scales was hard to see so I dabbed a little black acrylic into the carved wording on the scales then sanded and applied a few coats of poly on the wood for long term protection. It is still one of my top shavers.

    Hi,
Thanks for the link. I couldn't see any reference to Pakistan in the link though.

I notified Robert Harner and none of them is his work. Having seen his reply I didn't buy them. They look not too bad, though.
