I look at some of the customs more as art than everyday razors that are used on special occasions or sparingly. In that light, beauty is strictly in the eye of the beholder

I think the forum has a limit on length of response?

No need to start hurling insults as constructive criticism is taken as such.

I suggest that a razor that is 'art,' is not a razor. It's a sharp thing.

I only say something if a question is asked, otherwise I keep quiet.
For my taste there are very few makers that actually deserve attention, most seem to go overboard with their designs just to stand out from the rest. I wonder how much functionality is preserved in all of that.

HAR! In Layman's terms; Some, if let down gently, do fine and go right in to the issues and find ways to solve them.
    Constructive!

Adversely, some take any constructive criticism as an insult. Becomes obvious after a few posts as to their leanings.
    Insulted!
Never my intention to insult anyone who cannot take criticism or a good joke. Always pass on those. JMHO

I believe I would rather be told if something is wrong especially if fundamentally flawed,

as there are many experienced eyes that will see things differently and have used different designs that could have had issues but not put forward,

if I am the maker (or buyer even) I may be to caught up in the process to notice the issue.

I would rather learn from others mistakes also, as life is to short to make them all myself.
