Lots to choose from, but I've been slow to get pictures of the majority of my razors. I do have a shot of my two rarest pearls though.
Top is a Henckels dressed in one-piece mother of pearl with a .800 silver overlay front and back.
Bottom is a Waterville Cutlery razor with three-panel abalone scales shaped at the ends.

Wow! Don't know how it gets any better.
Thanks guys. Your razors, all of them, are treasures. The generosity of the members of this group is remarkable.Last edited by BanjoTom; 04-07-2018 at 11:09 PM.
Proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance.

Thanked: 25919/8 (after a chip removal) full hollow ground #50 Herder. I have not seen reference to one other than one read on the forum. The razor mentioned in the thread is the same razor.

Okay, going through my pictures, and I found a couple of brass beauties that qualify for this thread. In the last 10 years, I've seen only two examples of the top razor (mine being one of the two), and I've never seen another copy of the second razor.
Torrey in cast brass.
Unknown maker - marked Sheffield Steel.

Some I consider rare are a 9/8 total width Hess #1 and Rich Herder....
The brass scales above reminded me. A pair of Wade and Butcher celebrated razors once silver-plated.
A big old C. Congreve of Naylor's Celebrated Steel.
A McMoran is hard to see?
And a pair of razors from John Nowill who produced both scales and blades as a presentation set for the shipbuilding firm of Cammel and Laird.
The scales are thin ornate silver capped-over ivory
