Thanked: 2I'm curious what the difference is between the 200 and the 208.
Also am wondering what the finish differences are between 100 and the 200.
Great thread so far.
At the moment mr.parko has 5 razors listed 208, 777 (Gold Monkey), 66, 200 and 100. All say Carbon Steel. Has anyone figured out the differences between them?

Some of the photos show jimps while others don't. Also, the higher model numbers have more elaborate painting on the blade. (I have a #66 in route, but otherwise have only seen ebay photos.)

Thanked: 735I certainly hope he starts offering the 800 stainless. They are very nice looking razors, and I'm a stanless fan. I haven't honed one up yet, though.
As far as I can tell, the difference between the 200 and the 208 is the faux carbon scales on the 208. It should be a nice razor, if it's like the 200.

Thanked: 2Thanks for the replies guys. So does that mean they all share the same steel? Or even the same blade?
In addition to the size it would be great to find out the grind as well.
Seraphim I'm with you on the stainless stuff. I come from the world of kitchen knives and am a huge fan of stainless kitchen knives, but only in Japanese steel.
