Ecce Homo: Mastro Livi holding the razor he made for me and the certificate of authenticity stating the razor has been hand made by him.

Thank you very much indeed for your appreciation. You are right: for me too this was a dream turning into reality. I understand the privilege I had and I am happy to share this with you all.

Thank you Mike for your appreciation. I am in the process of downloading the pictures of my razor and I will post them in a while.

Ottime foto e che bei rasoi—dovresti essere molto felice con il tuo proprio e spero che rasi bene come sembra!

I see what you did there!

I think that one with the holes is awesome. I don't think it's be my first choice in razors if I could only have one but it still looks fantastic!

One day, probably when I'm old after years of saving, I hope that I can add a Mastro Livi razor to my collection, too!

EDIT: Hey, wait...did you actually mean 'the hole thing' as in the thing about the holes, or did you just mistype 'whole' as I'd initially thought? Both make sense now that I think about it.

Before posting the picture of the razor, here it is the chromium oxide paste and stick Mastro Livi gave me. Both are meant to be used with a strop, of course.

Oh, how does he make a paste like that? That's a pretty good idea! Don''t get confused, though, because it does look like a tub of shave cream!

I had the chance to hold this razor in my hand and I can tell it is a beautiful razor. I would certainly buy one. The most incredible thing is that it is sooooo light!

Maybe that day will come very soon. And you will not be old.

It is Mastro Livi formula and I guess it is secret. But it works wonders. I have never seen a chromium oxide paste being so firm and solid on a strop. It wonderfully works without leaving any trace on the blade.

This is how Mastro Livi razors are sold: in a beautiful olive tree wood box, hand made, of course. You should note that olive tree is one of the most common plants of Umbria and central Italy, which fruits - of course - are used for the production of our precious olive oil. A strong connection with the territory.
