That is absolutely beautiful!!! Congratulations on your razor and the journey building up to it.
I really cannot look away from those scales, probably the most gorgeous set I have ever seen!
They remind me of images of deep space stars and constellations. Maybe you should call it the 'constellation piece', if you haven't already given it a name?

I read all of your comments and I am very glad to see all the deep appreciation you expressed about my Mastro Livi razor and the work of Mastro Livi as well. I too am elated about my razor and I understand what I have is an unique masterpice of talent, art, technique and craftmaship. I consider this a privilege.
Later this morning I will shave with this razor and I will certainly post my comments and remark about it. I am sure it will be just wonderful.

This is the "certificate of origin" stating the authenticity of a Mastro Livi razor. Every straight razor made by Mastro Livi comes with a certificate like this. Hand signed by Mastro Livi, of course (bottom right).engine46 likes this.
