Thursday morning
Pre: Hot shower
Razor: Wardrobe & Pearce in buffallo horn scales (slightly milky, very nice )
Brush: Bushmar
Soap: Fitjar Calmomilla and Palmolive stick
AS: Island bay rum
Strop: Neil Miller linen/buffallo 30/50
Result: Mr Clean
Today was a very nice shave , even though I messed up w the soap. I loaded to little of the Fitjar (had heard you only need a very small amount and I ended up to be too cheap) and had to use a Palmolive stick for the second pass. But boy, what a sweet shave and razor!Last edited by Mikael; 09-16-2010 at 08:47 AM.

So nice, I decided I post it twice!
Pre: Blenheim Bouquet Conditioner during hot shower
Strop: Kanayama (30/60)
Razor: Filarmonica DT13 7/8
Lather: BentonClay Lavender + Potomac Bomb +8 drops
Brush: 23mm Shavemac Silvertip
Post: Thayer's Lavender (Alcohol Free)
ASB: Potomac Bomb
EdT: Creed Royal Delight
What a shave! This Fili just shines. I was a bit nervous when I bought this razor because I couldn't believe the prices people are paying for them; I figured it was overhyped. I was wrong! Hairs don't even poke their heads up when it's around for fear of how it will obliterate them.
The Potomac is an incredible scent for a wonderful SC. When Al starts producing it, I'm confident it will be a great success. It opens with a floral note and then gets toned down to a citrus from the petit grain and closes with a subtle cedar base. And when it's paired with the silky smoothness of that Shavemac, your face feels pampered and your nose is in heaven. The cushion and glide it delivers ensure that even the sharpest of razor will not mar your face!
I hope you'll all indulge me just a bit, because this one was so good, I needed a second picture of it with my DW included:
My day is starting off right, gentlemen. I hope yours goes as well!

Be careful, it quickly becomes another obsession......I love the old watches just like old razors..It amazes me that something over 100 years old can still work well and with presision and beaty you can't find today...I have an 1880 Elgin that runs without loosing time alll week.. Nothin classier than a old fedora (I have a few, rey 1940 Steton Wayfarer), a pocket watch and a straight. brings the gentlman out in anyone.

Wintchase,
there was a mistake in my post, sorry I'm a "native" German.
I give this watch someone (a Prof) to repair it for me.
I'm able to hone my straight razors - shot with my shotguns and my .45, but I'm not a watchmaker or precision mechanic.Last edited by eTom; 09-16-2010 at 12:11 PM.
