Thanks Robert, and I here you about a spike tip, the Focus has a spike that has bitten me twice, but like yourself I don't believe in muting the tip as that's how its suppose to be, just have to watch it while shaving. My Torrey Wedge will be ready soon and is really gonna be something out of the norm. Totally different design than any I've ever seen ! Ernie @ Ambrose Shave | Handcrafted Barber Strops | Straight Razor Restoration | Honing Services is doing a total restore on it, and I drew up the design for it, Its gonna be Schweet !

Awesome shave BB ! I think the clean chin looks great ! I wore a full beard for like 30 yrs and when I got deep into wet shaving, I started shaving my head and face and just sport a goatee now. I like the way you blended that pic together, looks awesome, keep em coming, and the wedge is a different shave as there isn't any sound of feedback like in a full hollow. I love to shave with my wedges ! Have a good en my friend !

Thanks Rene! Love your razors as well. I was lucky to start collecting when it seemed like no one wanted a straight razor.

    Location: Coffs Harbour Australia
    Strop: Illinois 835
    Brush: FS Finest Badger
    Soap: Proraso
    Razors: The Hybrid, Laurel DE
    A/S: Old Spice
The DE did most of the work today, the Hybrid was just involved for a small test shave to check the edge. Its flying away tomorrow to its new home in Denmark. I'm feeling HAD calling and I want a new coticule so it has been sold.
Result: Very happy with both razors. I might try using the DE for the head shave tomorrow
As always we've had some great pics this week. Robert, I've really enjoyed all the Japanese hardware.
Thanks guys, have a great weekend.
