Rock & Roll Tom. Great razor and sounds like a good tea (what kind did you have or do you like?)

Its flying away tomorrow to its new home in Denmark. I'm feeling HAD calling and I want a new coticule so it has been sold.

    Hey Grant,
Sorry to hear that she had to go to make room for a Coticule, but I guess when AD sets in, one cannot ignore it. have you ID-ed a Coti you like yet?

Great Shave, Great Razor, the jury is still out however on this Ogalla soap. I like the scent but performance has been hit and miss and occassionally it seems to burn my skin just a little.
Nice blade 1OldGI. Rene sent me an Ogallala shave stick and the lather I get from it is very very nice. But I guess, as with everything else, YMMV.

    Glenn,
Those look like excellent blades. Nicely done maestro and good choice. My Pipe razor is with Max being restored and rescaled as we speak. I am very excited.

Today's shave was about the "Bomb." I think it is time to order from AL.
Now, off to a nice lunch at the River Palm with some friends.
Enjoy the day Jeff...Sounds like a fun lunch. Great to hear that you are sold on Al's cremes. His cremes are hard to beat.

    Default ouch

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower > Lather > Strop > Hot Towel > Lather
    Brush: Vintage Boar "Vero"
Razor: W.M. Elliot #73, Hollow 9/16 muted square point. Celluloid scales with snakeskin pattern.
    Strop: DOVO Cowhide
Lather: New concoction: The Body Shop "Maca root" creme, Tabac soap, glycerine(WHOAH! that smells great!)
After Shave Balm: De Vergulde Hand
Results: Nick on ear . Smooth with some stubble. massive burning feeling(no redness though). I think the second shave in 2 days and/or the glycerine *cough*lack of technique*cough* is bad for my skin. Next shave(Sunday or Tuesday) no glycerine.

That was my Friday evening shave, enjoy the weekend!
