BIRTHDAY SHAVE
Hey everyone. Its my Birthday today (42) and the wife is taking me out for dinner on the lower east side of NYC tonight. I took a half day off work for among other reasons to spend a little time in my shave den.
Took a hot shower.
Razor - Dovo Bergischer Lowe that I recently touched up the edge.
Strop - 2" Cowhide
Pre-shave Oil - One I mixed myself containing Castor, Olive and Rosemary essential oils.
Brush - Also one I put together using a Grade A Silvertip Badger.
Cream - Proraso
Aftershave - Dolce Y Gabbana
I love this razor. The gold plating on the fancy spine and the buffalo horn scales are gorgeous. It has such a unique draw on the strop like none other. Great balance and shaves like a dream. I did 2 passes. WTG and XTG = BBS.
