    Default Tuesday.

Cast-free after 9 weeks. Wow, that felt great
A few more weeks in a Walker and I'm off to the Golf course again.

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
    Brush: Merkur Futur 22mm Silvertip
Razor: Jose Montserrat Pou Filarmonica EPBD #14, black scales
Honing Regimen: Chosera 1K, Coticule La dressante au Bleu, Nakayama Maruichi.
Strop: Kanayama #90000 Tri strop, Cordovan
Soap/Cream: TOBS Lemon and Lime shaving cream
    Astringent: Thayers Medicated SuperHazel
After shave Balm: Truefitt&Hill, Classic ASB
    EdT: Guerlain Vetyver
Results: A fine shave, very smooth edge. This razor was a bit tricky, it was not treated right in its early years. Now, it shaves like a EPBD should.

I didnt shave yesterday so we were up against a 2 day growth tonight. I really enjoy shaving off 2 days worth of growth, I find it very satisfying, but I like posting here too much to do it all the time.
This razor would have had 10-15 shaves since I restored it and its not even thinking about a touch-up, still giving me a fantastic shave. 2 very enjoyable passes left me clean and smooth.
The Old Spice mug was recently un-earthed by my Dad in his garage, it belonged to his Dad.
I love it and it will always be a part of my equipment, but due to its size it was a little too noisy tonight. I kept clinking the brush against the side while the kids were sleeping in the next room.
So many great post and pics lately, would have liked to comment on many of them bit I've been busy working on a couple of new display cases in my spare time. At least we have the Like button.
    Have a great day gentlemen
