Kickin it Old Skool today !
Spud & Face today
1924 Ever-Ready, Shovel Head w/Pal Blue Blade
HeadSlick Cream
Dickinson Witch Hazel
Florida Water
Spud is as slick as a round ice cube !!!
Kobar
Omega Pro 49
Williams Mug Soap
Florida Water
Face is as smooth as an unpeeled Banana !!!
This Kobar is the other razor honed by one of our
great members, its part two of which edge do I
like best, as I don't have a clue what they were
honed on. Hard to tell yet, which edge I like better
cause I've only had one shave with each razor. I
can tell you this, this one has a smooth buttery edge
that left me with a fantastic shave today !!!
This Dude knows how to hone a razor, I promise.
I'm leaving it up to him to divulge himself if he
wants too !

Thanked: 33Razor: J Allen & sons, Sheffield
Soap: Wilkinson Sword
Brush: Bestshave #8 for the head, and a #6 for the face
AS: Osage Rub
Today was my first 100% head shave with a str8. I usually do the sides and top with a str8, but use a d/e on the back. I had a good week of hair growth going on. So, instead of using clippers I just mowed it down with the wedge. I felt odd flying blind on the back of the noggin, but I can't complain about the results. The hair was wiped away leaving me with a BBS dome. 2 passes on the dome and 3 on the face. Topped off with the Freeze of Osage Rub, and I'm set.
Great shaves today, gentlemen.

Great shaves guys
Tom: Sounds and certainly looks like you're having fun. That IDF comrade of yours doesn't look all that happy. Did you upset him by teasing him with your straights ?
Mark (aka Blugill): The pleasure was all mine brotha. I am very glad you liked the edges. Now, as for which edge was what: One was on Shapton pros (1, 5, and 12k). The other is the same but with Y/G Escher as a finisher after the 12k Shapton. For the life of me, I can't remember which razor got what . I think the Kobar got the Escher. Getting old has its downsides and memory is the first thing that goes,
David: Congrats on your first head shave with the str8 . Sounds like quite a milestone.

GFT Rose SS - my first ever soap in a bowl (though not the original soap in there!)

This combo worked a treat! The Rose soap provides a wonderful close shave in these warmer months.

If you are thinking about anything ....please count me in for the MaxGang....I have no experience but I can learn fast
PD: not seem a good idea to stole something in LV, even at Max's house, I bet that he could broke our legs as a part of a typical "old school" punishment
