Another great day of shaves gentlemen
No shave for me today either. Tomorrow will be a good one with 2 day growth. Today, I feel like Grizzly Adams already
José: I love your jokes buddy. Keep them coming my friend. No need to apologize. We can't do a MaxGang though...Vivi can get wickedly vicious(especially when she does her 2 leg stand. see pictures of her below). BTW: Max showed me your (and Miguel's) razors. You will be one happy shaver buddy. She looks absolutely stunning. I almost wanted to steal your Vega for my collection
.
Konstantinos: Congratulations on your first str8 shave. Don't worry about it not being as good as it should. That will come in no time. Just keep doing what you're doing.
Grant: Holy cow buddy!!! I get the feeling that like Dominique Strauss-Kahn, you should also be on a suicide watch. Was the razor out to get you? Heal fast bro
Here's Vivi in her vicious pose (sorry for the out of focus shots. I had to rush to take these):

Thanked: 17Great shaves gents.
No pics today (for last nights shave):
Prep hot shower
Soap: SLÅTTERØY
Brush: Rooney BB
Razor: Dovo new C-mon
Strop: CS latigo after 12 laps on SRD pressed wool with Cr paste
Meh... decent shave but not great. The C-mon does not cut quite like the BlackStar from Lynn, it is sharp but seems to deflect a bit. Next shave more prep!

Thanked: 13249May 18th Wednesday morning
A wonderful Spring morning here in the Inland Northwest, I was trying to figure out what that bright Yellow thing was up in the sky
Had just one razor to test shave this morning so the majority of the shave was done with a favorite razor of mine...This 6/8 NY Thistle just is so hard to beat...
After a nice long shower I built up a Musk filled Uberlather using a restored 24mm Slivertip in a Vintage Old Spice handle...I used that brush to whup up on a mixture of HoneyBee Spas Musk soap and Old Spice Musk shave cream with 5 drops of Pure Glycerin... The resulting Uberlather was a delightfully creamy Musk scented concoction sitting nice and warm in a Georgetown scuttle...
I lathered up a wet face and let it do it's thing softening my beard as I stropped up the Thistle 25/50 on an SRD Premium 1...
After a couple of minutes, then a hot washcloth over the lather to soften the beard a bit more...
A nice hot water splash and re-lather for effect, the shave started with a WTG stroke on the neck followed by an ATG stroke to test a DD #1 going home today.. I moved to the Thistle and did a complete WTG pass cutting in my bread lines... A hot water rinse and a re-lather followed by a multi-directional pass...
Another hot water rinse and a clean up of the lather and brush under warm water, switching that to cold water with an icy splash... The last cold clear water pass to straighten the beard lines to perfection, and get any errant hairs off my neck.. One last ice water rinse, and a huge splash of Aqua Velva Musk A/S to finish a great morning shave...
Enjoy the rest of the week...
