    Default Wednesday

    Ok, I've done it!

First full straight shave - did not even touch my DE razor.

It is very satisfying to see that something I had thought for years would be not easy to achieve, with careful preparation and not much last-minute hesitation became possible.

    Revisor > Omega > Dovo > Myrsol > Ortigia

Result: good, not presentable, not ultimately close, no cuts whatsoever, quite a bit of neck redness (but I always apply too much pressure, even with a DE, should fix that soon).

Will not last as long as any of my standard shaves do (i.e. 10 hrs) but for a first full attempt I am more than happy.

Very nice Mikael. Love the Berg. I also like the Proraso, but on my skin, the Floïd last longer (10 or 15 seconds more, LOL)
I bet it is - MAXISM Thank you, hmmm, strange, I really thought it gave the longest menthol kick I ever had.

    Default An Iberian Affair

    Filarmonica DT13 | Semogue | La Toja Manantiales | Superior 70 Bay Rum | 4711 Portugese

I wanted to use, as much as possible, and I almost accomplished it. Sadly, I had no Iberian after shave, so I went for a hispanic flair with the Puerto Rican product. The lather was divine, the razor was, well, a Fili, and the 4711 left me feeling fresh. A slight moment of inattentiveness reminded me why we must stay alert while using a straight, but all nicks heal!

A great week of shaves so far, gentlemen. Thank you for letting me share mine!
He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.
