I love the blade Grant, she turned out beautiful ! I know exactly what you mean about the honing, blades I thought were good are now just ok and I find myself spending copious amounts of time redoing them It's kind of fun

    Hey Dunc,
Great shave buddy. The C-Mon is known to take on an amazing edge. Don;t give up on her. Take her to the stones and let her tell you what she's capable of doing.

    Nice shave Kelebekcc,
All I can say is: Interesting scales!!! I had seen this razor before, but never realized that they were the actual scales of the razor. How's the handling?

And Yes Sir you did a magnificent job on both. Now I know what all the hype is behind the Shapton Stones, and the results of a Y/G Esher finish is. I like it to much ! Thanks so much buddy, and it really looks like y'all are having a wonderful time on your vacation, don't forget to see the Show Girls at least once ! LMAO !

I feel for you Jeff. Have a safe trip back and hope your dad starts feeling 100% soon. I am sure your dad is proud to have a son like you.

Sure will. We had fun indeed, but I hate it when good times must come to an end. But, we look forward to more soon enough.

We all suffer from RAD-oholism. Who's moderating the meeting?? If it's one of us, then it's like the blind leading the blind...No hope whatsoever, LOL. We need someone who's been cured (hard to find such a guy).

Beautiful Fromm Rene. Great catch. I got the other razor posted from the same guy (A 15/16" Klopp "Spezial"). I should get it soon.

Working 3a-3p today. Couldn't sleep so had a nice shave. Mixed it up today, bowl lathered with this floppy Vie Long. I do really like Vie Long brushes , but I'm not so sure about this one. Even though it's too darn early to shave. I enjoyed this Japanese Razor's squeegee effect on my whiskers.

    Have great shaves today, Gentlemen
