Lfloyd, that's a really good product to start with, I love it!! I have her ASB Bayrum and it's really good. I mix some of her ASB and Ogallala AS Bayrum as a splash, great stuff, the scent is out of this world!!

Great first SOTD, Dunc. Welcome to the brotherhood. We look forward to your future shaves!

If I wave this razor close to my face the wind from the razor will instantly sheer off stubble. There is just a fantastic edge on this thing. One pass and a touch up is a really good shave; two passes and a touch up is BBS. I now have a cable box in the bedroom and I can play classic rock while I shave. For today's shave, the following tunes were stand outs: Hey Joe by Jimi Hendrix and L.A. Woman by The Doors. Sleeping late on a Monday morning was really cool too. I seem to be mostly recovered from the move and my new house is outstanding. A bit off the beaten path so it's very quiet and very comfortable. A couple particulars to tend to this morning but the afternoon promises to be some high quality sit back and kick back time. Life is good!

Auto Strop U.S. Army Issue
Turkish H.H. Brush #6
Nivea Shave Cream
Pinaud Clubman A/S Lotion
Gentelman, I must elaborate on this shave !
First off me and David aka "nubskillz" had a little razor swap late last month, and this is one of the prize razors I received. This Auto Strop razor is Original, before Gillette bought them out and gave it the name of Valet, this is a serial numbered Army issue razor. I haven't shaved sense last Friday and had a very thick stubble/short beard, whipped up a lather and went at it. Honestly I couldn't believe the results after the first pass, I had very little stubble left and was in disbelief, till I looked in the sink at all the hair I had just wiped off. Proceeded with a second pass and was done ! I honestly have never gotten that close of a shave in two passes with that much growth with any razor. These Original Auto Strop's honestly shave much better than the Valet's do. Two passes to a true BBS Shave ! Zero irritation with a Feather Blade on its third shave, and yes I did strop it with the stropper six times. This is an amazing razor to say the least! Here is a link of this razor, I don't have the little outfit shown here, but David did send it to me with an Original Auto Strop leather covered wooden box.
