Brush: Frank's Finest Badger
Soap: Tabac
Razor: The Mutant
Astringent: Thayer's Original
Balm: Nivea Replenishing
A/S: David Craig Bay Rum
This razor often gets forgotten. It doesnt live in the display case with the rest of them, it has its own box and sits on a shelf in my room. I loaded the brush a little more than usual and got my best Tabac lather to date. The razors edge is in great shape and delivered a fantastic smooth shave. I stopped after 2 passes, a momentary lapse in concentration on the XTG pass cost me a nice cut right in the middle of my right cheek from the spike point. Never mind it's all part of the game, still a fantastic and fun shave.

Doom, I have some of CarrieM's products. Really good stuff. I live near them so they were my initial shave turors. Great pair. Got me off to a good start.

Rum: great to see you back posting mate. Love your gear
Grant: SOTD posting Disorder??!! That's awesome. I love it. Is there a cure?
We arrived in Vegas yesterday afternoon to be greeted with high winds and cooler temps. We met up with Max and his wife (and Vivi, of course who proceeded to demand her usual belly rub, for which we were all too happy to comply). We chatted for a couple of hours and went off to dinner. I got a sneak preview of my personal Maxtom last night . Absolute thing of beauty (Thank you Max). I am in love. Can't take her home with me yet as she's not dressed properly...on order.
Wife and I are planning to go hiking around Red Rock Canyon this AM. The temps are still a bit cool for Vegas and the winds should behave more, but we'll see how fun it'll be. I (and maybe wife, unless she decides to go shopping) plan on hooking up with Max later on this afternoon and maybe help him out and check out his new operation.
My shave will happen sometime today...don't know when (and even if) it'll happen.
