So true, you know I'm sure I read a study somewhere that said straight razor shavers were better Dads, more intelligent and better looking than other men

Great looking razor Bill and nice work Rene, scales look sweet.

That is one nice piece of steel Rene. She's a beauty too. I do love mine and will be taking her out for a spin soon

I didn't knew this model of Dovo, when are they made?
They're the vintage ones and difficult to get a hold of these days. A top notch contender and extremely smooth edge shaver. Shavingshop.com has them...but it's without the Gold Wash on the front.

Simple and nice Otto. Yesterday was the 10/8" Bob Allman razor, right? or am I confused with the days?

Beautiful Klas my friend. She is happy to be coupled with the Shavemac too.

Results: Brilliant. The Domenico Caraceni is an awesome cream. Paired with the big and soft Thäter it makes for some really spectacular lather. Zowada's are true shavers. All I could ever ask for in a custom. Or any straight really.
    B.,
Top gear for sure my friend. I don't know which to pick to comment on. Thäters are reaaaaaaal nice brushes. You need a display museum for your razors and a separate one for the customs. I am sure that room will get filled in no time.

    Bill,
Congratulations. Rene really did wonders with that wood. From what I heard, not the easiest of woods to work with. Well done Rene

Nice Imperial GI. Gotta love Extra Hollows.

Curious: What kind of stone(s) did you use?

    Glenn,
You've got a brave one on your hands buddy. She may grow up to be a tornado chaser, LOOOL. She sounds adorable. I wish kids came with growth control knobs...They grow too fast. But every age (with exception of teenage ones) are moments to be cherished. Enjoy her.

Like there was any doubt, LOL. I would love to get a hold of "that study" and where it was published though. Gotta make sure it was peer reviewed, LOL.

Congratulations mate. That's great news. Was this as a Chef or doing something else? Great shave to celebrate the occasion.

Yeah, but that also means we will be seeing a ton more acquisitions now. Max will be busier than hell and eBay's coffers will be empty. Bad news for the rest of us, LOOOOOOOL.

A "Cook", not quite the same thing, still have to do a full apprenticeship to become a qualified Chef. Still looking but at least I'm getting some casual work. Its a 5 star resort and I'm learning a lot.
I forgot to answer on one of your previous posts, Jack is doing really well thanks mate. As happy/cheeky as he has been for a long time.
