    Good morning Gentlemen.

Shave prep: Face wash, bergamot preshave oil
    Brush: Frank Shaving Finest Badger
    Soap: Proraso Green Tea
Razor: Roxo, by Marsh Borthers, Pond Works, Sheffield England, 4/8 half hollow
    Strop: nun2sharp's hanging leather strop
After Shave Splash: My own Witch Hazel Cedarwood and Cypress concoction. Since there's virtually no alcohol in my AS, we'll call this a dry day
Notes: Not really sure what happened here today, but it may be the closest I've come to a 1-pass bbs. A good dollop of touchup, but still, and 2 small nicks to show for my efforts. I had to bring out the styptic, the low alcohol AS does nothing to close up little trickles. Also, I am not a big fan of menthol in my lather, so I got the Green Tea. They snuck some in there as well, who wouldda thought Apart from that, the lather is great. All in all, a great shave.

Took 2 trees down and layed them across the street. Then about 1/2 later my sister was at my house because she has no way to get home. MANY MANY streets are closed and blocked by down in trees. Not sure how many twisters landed. Very happy to be safe. This is the first time i have ever heard of one landing here in this area. Crazy day! Shave tomorrow!
I´m happy you´re safe. I was in a hurricane back in 1999 and you´re pretty small when it comes to powers released by nature.

Now that I've done at least one shave with all my straights, I think a 5/8 or a 4/8 are the best for me at this stage. In addition, XTG is still very hard, in most areas.
You´re getting there Konstantinos, usually I would say the a stiffer grinds (like Swedes and wedges) makes your face hurt if not careful, but that Revisor is most likely a flexible razor. I thinkl you can be right on the money, it´s prob to sharp in combination with a slightly to hard hand when shaving.

Work is going pretty well thanks mate, picked up a few shifts this week. Still want to find an apprenticeship though. I'll do some hunting next week, going to restaurants and cafe's etc. My folks are up from Sydney visiting us this week so not much spare time.

I am glad you are OK. I've been in several hurricanes and only seen one Tornado in my time. They are sights to behold, but scary. If you need anything, I'm a short drive away. Just give me a call.

I envy your ability to travel. I am looking forward to the day when the girls are done with college and we have the opportunity to travel. What is funny is that I think traveling the world is a big part of education so my kids have been all over the place as part of their high school and college educations. I have one more trip to pay for which will be to Egypt and Greece for my Penn Stater. After that, it will be our turn.

A little time on the fine stone last evening put this razor in fine trim. Got the squeegy effect this morning as it effortlessly removed my stubble for a 3 pass Hollywood shave. Nice to meet up with my old friend Florida Water as well, I ran out some time ago and only yesterday swung by the store to get some.
The older I get, the better I was
