Thank you so very much guys. I'm overwhelmed at the outpouring of well wishes sent my way by each and every one of you. It brings tears of joy to these old eyes of mine.

Wade&Butcher...uberlather using C.O. Bigelow Eucalyptus, VDH and glycerin....brush was a generic boar from walgreens....and the beer was homebrewed American Amber Ale......
As usual, the W&B gave a superb shave and the beer was the reward for no nicks.

Being singled out as a leader in a place of higher education is a wonderful achievement. Congratulations and my best wishes to you and your family.

Today's shave was a lesson in honing. I tired to hone the Adoration I used yesterday. Taped the spine, attempted to get the bevel re-set at 1K, then did the Norton progression. I was able to pop hair off my arm but the edge was not ready when I tried to shave.
Whipped out my Fat Boy (razor) and completed the shave.

    Hot shower
    Warm Oil
    Nancy Boy Cucumber SC
    Boar brush
    1959 Fat boy Astra blade
    Pinaud Bay Rum
    AOS Aluminum
    Vaseline for men.

    Used an old Picture.

    Enjoy the evening.

Wow! What a way to "come back". Excellent pic Cherubino - can I ask what razor that is? Am I right in saying it's Filly?
