I want too thank RUM for the kind comment. ...I'm always learning here and trying they.

I apologize for my lack of participation over the last few days guys. I've just been a little busy, but I assure you I haven't been shaving behind your backs, until an hour ago I was sporting a substantial 3 day growth.
    Prep: Hot Shower/Hot Towel
    Strop: MickR's Roo Hide
    Brush: FS Finest Badger
    Soap: Proraso
Razor: John Hassal 6/8 Near Wedge
    Astringent: Thayer's Witch Hazel
    A/S: Wahl Bay rum
This old wedge is my 3 day growth specialist
The shave was so good after the first pass that I decided 2 passes would be plenty tonight.
The result was near BBS. Very satisfying after 3 days.
I know nothing about the origin of this razor, but it is great piece of steel.
    Enjoy the weekend boys

Thanks, Bjoernar, the Chandler certainly lived up to the hype!

    Konstantinos,
It is amazing how improvement in technique in one area can lead to an exponential improvement in another. As you said, nothing is accidental (excepts accidents maybe, LOL). Well done my friend and congratulations on pushing the envelope.

On my. Check that frameback out. Very nice Sten and enjoy that soap while it last. Makes it even more special everytime you use it.

PS: It's June already? What happened to May?

What a sensational blade. I love it. I love that satin finish (or so it seems)

Results: A very fine shave. The Polo 12 was a very positive acquaintance. It is big, but thanks to the 2-band Super badger, it handled the MWF with a supreme ease.
    Congrats Birnando (sorry, custom meister),
What a nice acquisition. I bet there's virtually nothing left of the MWF now, LOL. That Marshs & Shepherd of yours looks awesome too. Is that from Steve (aka Zomax). The pinning looks like it could be his work (not sure at all though). a 10.8" is no longer a razor, that's a machete, LOOOL. Well done my friend.

He's also great to deal with. I think he will be making the T2 in Silvertip (I think). I need to shoot him an email and find out for sure. I need another brush like I need a root canal, LOL.

Very nice Mikael. A beautiful razor and brush...and a great combination of soap/creme. Complementing scents, I guess. An atypical photo...I like it.

    Wowww Bill,
You are a custom roll. Congrats on a fine acquisition. I heard great thing about JCs as well. And what a ncie way to complement that razor with your new Simpson and La Toja...but I must say that it's (almost) sacrilege to dilute the La Toja with anything else, LOOOOOL.

PS: have a great trip buddy. Now that Tom's vacation will end, I look forward to going to Italy with you guys. Don't forget to post picts (if time permits) and tell us how you (or rather we) are liking the trip

How do you like the CS 1752? I heard very mixed reviews on it. Thoughts?

Haaaaaa...I like that (shaving behind your backs). That's pretty original Grant. It's great to have a few "specialists" for special jobs. Beautiful piece of steel my friend. How's work treating you?
