Week of May 29 SOTD - Tuesday
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Brush: 26mm Simpson "Chubby 2", 3-band Super Badger Razor: 15/16" Ernst Klopp "Spezial", Full Hollow Ground, Spike Point Strop: 45/60 laps (Torolf linen / SRD Premium IV leather) Überlather: Czech & Speake #88 Shave Soap Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol) Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer After Shave Splash: Truefitt & Hill "Spanish Leather" AS Results: I love this soap and I love this blade . The lather from this thing is so unreal, I had to use it again today and the Klopp had a super nice time wiping yesterday's growth with ease. This blade take on an amazing edge. And trust me, it's not my honing, it's the edge/steel/whatever she's got. As the blade was gliding over my face, there was just the silent sound of death in her wake. It's whisker genocide...This is one "mass murderer" I am very happy to own .

Have an INCREDIBLE Tuesday gentlemen.

Thanks mate!
And how about that Klopp of yours! What a beautiful razor.
I love Spine work like that. And if it takes an edge like you described. Wow, great stuff
The barbecue was sensational. They sure know about rubs and Barbecue sauce in Kansas!! Very tasty.
Bill was kind enough to send me a few tubs of Arthur Bryant's rubs and sauce. That stuff will be put on heavy rotation this summer
And a couple days ago, he told me about Beer Butt Chicken. That's on for this Saturday. Rain or shineBjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Thanks Sten...I rarely use(d) online services, but sounds like I should give it a go
Too late....You obviously haven't heard him sing yet, LOOOOL.
Thank you for the kind words B. I love that Klopp. Enjoy another round of BBQ...make sure you have 911 ready and on guard as that stuff is known to clog all arteries, LOOOOOL

Razor: F.W. Engels Special
Pre-shave: Noxzema
Brush: Rooney pure badger
Soap: Omega
AS: Thayers Lavender
Result: I try not to say anything good about any of the Engels so that the price doesn't get driven up like the Ducks. All that I'll say is this was a nearly one pass BBS.
