    Pre-Shave: Shower
    Brush: Semogue 2010 LE # 66
Razor: Robert Williams Custom, 7/8", Barber's Notch
    Strop: Kanayama
    Soap/Cream: C&E Nomad
    Astringent: Thayer's Lavender (Alcohol-Free)
    After shave Balm: Sabon
    EdT: Creed Cuir de Russie
Results: Fanfreakintastic! I got this Robert Williams last week and gave her a test shave. I got a very close shave, but knew the blade had more in it because it required too many passes. What's a guy to do when he has a nice new custom that doesn't give quite the shave he expects? I took her to the stones. A quick nagura progression on my Oozuku Assagi ensued. With just that little bit of love, this blade performed flawlessly. I had 3+ days of growth, but the RW never noticed. This thing may just be the fountain of youth because 2 passes later, my face feels just as it did when I was a newborn baby 40 years ago! And I am ready for this incredibly short 2-day work week!!

Phenomenal job with the shaves, gentlemen!

Two big nicks but no matter what this straight shaving thing will always give you much less irritation than a DE shave - and that's why I love it.

A great 3 pass shave! Doctor's appointment this morning then it's off to my labors. Is it just me or do two day weekends seem way too short and adding a day doesn't seem to help one bit. I think I could dig a 3 day work week (6 hours each day) Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. It'll never happen but dreaming is good.

Beautiful shot and setup Jamie. Sounds like you've got a great day planned after this wonderful shave

Sorry to hear about the cold Sten. It can be a drag on shaving for sure. Hang in there and get well soon.

PS: How did you do the after effect. Blend it with another vintage foreground in Photoshop? Just curious. Very well done

Beautiful setup Mikael. Great looking blade and Harris rocks. How do you like your Tubby 2? Is that 26mm knot in Super?

Results: Nothing but the best of shaves from this Williams. I rate this blade as my very best Custom. It delivers a silky smooth BBS every single time.
    Birnando,
Beautiful piece of steel...Sorry about the fishing trip though. I guess the fish anticipated the "less-than desirable" weather you're having today and took shelter...Better luck next time for sure. But, at least you had a stellar shave to make up for the fishing. The Yin and Yang of life as they say.

PS: How was that BBQ of yours turn out the other day?

Sorry about the nicks (you've got to watch the angles - not of the edge, but the toe and heel - you may be lifting the heel or toe). I second your str8 vs. DE assessment

+1. I think we should have two day work weeks and 5 day weekends, LOL. I'll dig that. Just got me some of that La Toja AS/EdC set. Good luck at the doc's.

Thank you! No PhotoShop for me I'm afraid, I use online services. These were made with the Retro Vintage Effects program at Pixlr.Com. Cool effects, easy to use and free, versus dorky names (well, non-descriptive anyways) and lack of adjustments. I like their frames.
