I did three passes with this razor. The CS always provides a nice thick, rich great smelling lather. I love the aroma especially with the windows open.
After three passes with this razor, I needed another three. It did not pull, but it barely removed the whiskers. Not a good shave at all but I did not want to irritate my skin so I stopped.
I think part of the issue was the shave I had last night using the Custom by Max. I just think it is a hard act to follow. I'll put it on the rocks and this week and see if I cannot get it up to par.
Enjoy the evening.

No shave for me today. The shave from Memorial day was so close (and it was later in the day) that I didn't need one this morning. Rather than shave tonight, I'll resume my regular schedule tomorrow. Great posts today Gentlemen!

Haaaaa. They are great shavers indeed. Well done.
Wowwww King,
You seem to have quite a nice collection of TIs. Very nice.
Hmmmm Monroe. I wonder: Are you trying to say that you L'Occitane, LOOOOL? Excellent choice of soap with an equally amazing brush
Great pictures Tom....Loved being ion vacation with you guys. I am no longer worried, stressed or otherwise sad about this one coming to an end though (and neither should you)...We will soon be going to Italy and experience Tuscanny in all her glory, LOOOOL (let's just hope that Bill will post every day pictures like you did)
Great shave Kalerolf...as long as you are satisfied, that's all that counts.
Rum,
It's always a great pleasure to see your posts. Well done. beautiful razor and fabulous soap
I bet that Shavemac whipped up a heck of a lather from the La Toja
It's a bird, it's a fish, it's Shark(y). I see whiskers running in all directions. They can run, but they can't hide. Well done Mark. I have a feeling that this Torrey will be a loner straight amongst your SE collection in the near future, LOOOOL
Great job Frank
Ooouch Jeff...Sorry to hear about the less than perfect shave. But I agree: Any other razor would have a rough time keeping up with a Maxtom. Good luck on the rocks...I am sure you will put on a great edge (that even Max would be proud)
You're such a tease Glenn...Now,I have wait 'til tomorrow, LOOOOL.
Excellent shave

Good morning.
Wednesday:
Edwin Jagger : Wilkinson : Omega : Old Spice : Bottega : Oscar de la Renta
I currently do one day straight shave, one day DE.
The quality (closeness, irritation-free) and after-shave feeling of my DE shaves has increased dramatically after I took up full straight shaves.
Nothing is accidental.
